Abstract
Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAV) are taking a centralposition in the landscape of intelligent mobility and theirrigorous verification and validation is one of the mainchallenges in their public deployment and social acceptance.Conformance testing is a rigorous verification technique that hasbeen widely tried in various critical applications. In this talk,we examine the adaptations and extensions of the notions ofconformance and model-based testing techniques that make themsuitable for application in the CAV domain. We present how theextended techniques can be used in the design of connectedvehicle functions and verify various design decisions.
